Graveyard of Tides
Through the mist of a dying dawn
I walked where the black waves bled
Rusty giants in silence slept
Iron bones of the ancient dead
Broken masts like skeletal hands
Pointing up to a poisoned sky
The wind whispered cursed names
Of sailors who came to die
The tide was breathing slow tonight
Like a beast beneath the foam
I felt the cold beneath my skin
As if the sea called me home
Welcome to the graveyard of tides
Where the lost ships drift and cry
Anchored deep in the endless night
Where forgotten captains lie
Hear the chains of the ocean roar
Hear the ghosts inside the storm
You may walk upon these shores
But you will never return
Steps in sand that were not mine
Echoed through the hollow bay
A phantom fleet beneath the fog
Slowly drifting into gray
I saw my face upon the mast
In the rust of a shattered hull
Eyes of terror staring back
From a fate already full
The tide began to rise again
Like a drum of doom below
And every ship began to groan
With a truth I’d never know
Welcome to the graveyard of tides
Where the broken vessels sleep
Where the ocean keeps its oaths
In a silence dark and deep
Hear the bells beneath the waves
Hear the drowned men call my name
In this harbor of the damned
I have become the same
Now I see the endless lie
Written in the drifting foam
Every man who finds this shore
Finds the place he calls his tomb
Time dissolves in salted air
Night devours the fading light
And the ship that claimed my soul
Waits for me in endless night
I am the ghost of the dying tide
Bound to watch the waters bleed
Every night my death returns
Every wave repeats the deed
In the graveyard of the tides I stand
Where eternity is born
Living out my final breath
Forever drowned… reborn.
