Blood of the Beast
Cold wind through the forest black
A hunter walks alone
Years of grief upon his back
A heart turned into stone
The beast that haunts the village night
Has taken blood and breath
But years ago it took his son
And left him here with death
Deep inside the ancient woods
Where shadows never sleep
The hunter hears a distant cry
From something dark and deep
Steel in hand and fire in heart
He walks into the flame
To face the beast that stole his child
And end its cursed name
Moonlight falls through dying trees
A shadow starts to rise
The hunter lifts his trembling blade
And looks into its eyes
Blood of the beast, blood on the snow
Truth in the steel he’ll never know
Blood of the beast, fate in the night
Love and death in the final fight
Claws of death and steel collide
The forest shakes with cries
The hunter strikes with all his strength
As thunder splits the skies
The beast collapses in the snow
The silence slowly grows
But as the moon reveals the face
A deeper horror shows
The monster fades… the curse is gone
A human shape appears
The hunter falls upon his knees
And drowns in endless tears
The face he sees beneath the blood
Breaks through his shattered breath
The child he lost so long ago
Returned to him in death
Blood of the beast, blood on the snow
Truth in the steel he’ll never know
Blood of the beast, fate in the night
Love and death in the final fight
A father holds his dying son
Beneath the frozen sky
Two broken smiles in silent snow
And then they both… say goodbye
