The Black Knight

Ashes fall on silent fields
Smoke beneath the sky
A dragon’s shadow haunts the land
Where countless children died

A village weeps in crimson dawn
The bells of mourning cry
Burned homes beneath a blackened sun
And smoke that scars the sky

Then through the mist a rider comes
In armor dark as night
A silent oath within his heart
To stand alone and fight

No crown… no throne…
No glory left to claim
Only the road to fire and flame

Ride, black knight, ride into the flame
Where death and legends meet
The dragon waits beyond the hills
With thunder in its wings

Ride, black knight, ride through fear and fate
Where heroes stand alone
For if you fall in battle’s fire
Your name becomes a throne

Across the cliffs and shattered stone
The warrior rides alone
The sky grows dark with beating wings
The beast descends in storm

Its roar can break the mountain walls
Its breath can melt the ground
But steel meets scale in thunder’s clash
As fire rains around

Beneath its burning wings

Blade of steel and heart of flame
Strike the beast that none could tame

Neither knight nor beast remain

The dragon falls with shattered cry
Its wings collapse in flame
But mortal wounds run deep in steel
The knight can’t rise again

He lifts his eyes to fading light
As silence claims the land
The village lives… the beast is slain
But death takes his command

Where endless heavens shine
The warrior’s soul is forged anew
In armor now divine

No shadow left to fear
For those who die to save the world
The gates of heaven clear

A dragon slain
A hero gone
But in the sky
A star is born

Now clad in white
With burning wings
The fallen knight
Among archangels sings
